Stroud LRC
Stroud LRC is located on the Stroud Campus of SGS College. We have 69 PCs available for use on a “first come first serve” basis. We also have a range of resources that can be booked by staff, including video cameras, digital cameras, netbooks, laptops, ipads, tripods, Nintendo DS’s, and MP4s. We also have facilities for printing, photocopying, binding and laminating.
And, of course, no library would be complete without books! We have a wide selection of books, both academic and recreational, that college students and staff can borrow for set periods of time. We also are subscribed to a large number of journals and magazines, and hold a number of daily newspapers. Plus, we also hold a good library of DVDs, including films and television series, and audio CDs. Our collection is always growing, so you notice any glaring omissions (or you *really* want to watch the last Harry Potter film again), let a member of staff know, we’ll make a note of it on our system, and, if the suggestion is approved, it might just end up gracing our shelves (This applies to all sites: ask at any LRC front desk about books, DVDs or journals you’d like to see, and the LRC Advisors will happy to help!)
