SGS students and members of staff can use the five academic/educational databases to which the college subscribes. These are collections of information sources, including encyclopaedia entries, maps, videos, statistics and newspaper and journal articles. They complement the learning resources (books, e-journals, DVDs, etc.) which are kept in the college LRCs and the LRC electronic system: they contribute
- articles from a wider range of periodicals, including older texts
- the latest information produced in relation to many subjects
- resources of types which are unique in the LRC, e.g. map collections and groups of statistics
In order to explore the databases, please direct your mouse to the ‘RESOURCES’ icon at the top of your screen, and click on the ‘Databases’ icon. You then will see the Databases homepage.
