June 18, 2015 by LRC Leave a Comment

Yes, the third week is upon, and with it our Third Place contender in this year’s Most Borrowed Fiction at SGS College. You don’t have to wrack your brain to solve this mystery, the answer awaits below…

In third place…

3: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, by Mark Haddon

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time

Christoper John Francis Boone, a teenager on the autistic spectrum, finds his neighbour’s dog, dead, speared with a pitchfork; a true mystery in the first degree. And so he sets out to solve the crime, documenting his endeavours in this book – written in the first person from Christopher’s perspective – which he dubs his “murder mystery novel”. This is a truly unique and thought-provoking novel, as well as just a really enjoyable and entertaining read – no wonder it has won so many awards! SGS Students clearly have excellent taste.
