To do an advanced search on the UoG library website, click “Advanced Search”:
Lots of options will come up:
You can type in keywords at the top.
You can tick Boolean/Phrase to do a Boolean search (click here or ask a librarian to find out what that means).
You can tick Scholarly/Peer Reviewed for reliable results which have been checked by academics.
You can tick Full Text (Online) to search for articles and e-books which are available to you online. Access these by logging in to the UoG system when prompted.
