Every year, the 10th of October is World Mental Health Day. Recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and organised by the World Federation for Mental Health, World Mental Health Day aims to raise awareness of mental health and promote further discussion.
The WHO has found that one four people will be directly affected by a mental health disorder at some point in their lives — that’s a lot of people, and chances are that you either know someone affected, or have been personally affected yourself. Promoting mental health awareness is vital; and especially during these exceptional times, supporting our own and each other’s good mental health is more important than ever!
SGS LRCs can help by providing you with resources related to mental health. We have put together a selection for you to take a look at; and all of the books and DVDs listed below are available for you to borrow!
